Monthly credits vs packs
01 The one thing to remember
Credits from a monthly plan expire when your plan renews. Credits you buy outright do not expire at all.
02 How a monthly plan works
On your renewal date your allowance is set back to the full amount for your plan. It is reset, not added to. Anything you did not use that month is gone, and it is not refunded.
So on Starter you get 20 credits each month. If you use 12, the other 8 disappear at renewal and you start the new month on 20 — not 28.
03 How bought credits work
Credits you paid for outright stay in your balance for as long as your account is open. That covers credit packs, your free starting credits, and anything a promo code or our support team has given you.
04 Which ones get used first
Your monthly allowance is always spent first, because those are the ones with a deadline. Your bought credits are held back until the monthly ones are gone.
This is deliberate — it means you never lose a credit you paid for.
05 Changing plan part-way through a month
- Moving up a plan gives you the difference in credits straight away.
- Moving down a plan does not give you credits now. The new, smaller allowance starts at your next renewal.
06 Running low near your renewal
If your monthly credits are nearly gone you can buy a pack at any time, and it sits alongside them. See Buy more credits.
