Who can see what in an agency

01 The short answer

The head seat can see the photos every colleague shoots, grouped under that person’s name, and what each of them has spent this period.

Nobody else can. A colleague cannot see another colleague’s work, and cannot see the agency’s billing. If you are seated on an agency account, read section 03 — it is about you.

02 If you are the head seat, here is what you see

On the agency page, for each person on your account:

• Their email address.
• What they have spent this period. If we cannot read that number we say so rather than showing a zero we are not sure about.
• When their seat was added, and whether they are the head seat.
• Their shoots — when each was created, and for every photo in it whether it finished, any error, any quality note, and the finished image, which you can view and download.

You do not see their own credit balance, any plan of their own, their devices, their preferences or their location. The property address typed against a shoot is not on that screen either.

The page shows the 200 most recent shoots across the whole agency and tells you when it has hit that limit. Photo links go stale after fifteen minutes; reload the page for fresh ones.

03 If you are seated on an agency account

Your employer can see the photos you shoot on this account, and what you spend. That is what an agency account is. It is worth knowing before you shoot anything personal on it.

• They see every shoot on the account, not only the ones the agency’s credits paid for — including work you did before you were seated, or paid for yourself.
• They cannot see your own credit balance, your own plan, your devices or your location.
• Your colleagues cannot see your work at all. Only the head seat can.
• If your seat is removed, your shoots leave their view on the next page load, and your photos stay in your account.

04 Billing is the head seat’s alone

Only the head seat can open the billing portal, see the card, see invoices, buy credits or cancel. Everyone else is told so plainly when they try — it is not a broken screen, it is the design. See Change the head seat.
