What is a credit?

01 The short answer

One credit finishes one photo. One credit also runs one editing tool on one photo. That is the whole system.

Every finished photo comes back in 4K, and that is what the one credit buys. There is nothing to choose and no cheaper, smaller version — full quality is the only quality.

02 What costs a credit

• Finishing a photo — one credit each.
• Running an editing tool — one credit each time you run one.
• Running a tool again on the same photo — that is another run, so another credit.

03 What costs nothing

• Taking photos. Shoot as much as you like.
• Storing, browsing and downloading your photos, as many times as you want.
• Crop and straighten — it happens on the phone, so it is free.
• A tool that refuses. Run the fire tool on a photo with no fireplace and it tells you so without charging you.
• A photo or an edit that fails. The credit goes straight back.

If something fails part-way we return the credit automatically and say so on screen. Trying again uses a new credit.

04 Where to see your balance

Your balance is shown in the app and in your account on the website. A new account starts with six free credits, plus one more the first time you take a photo.

05 The rules

Credits are not refundable once they have been spent, have no cash value, and cannot be moved between accounts.
